PRIMAVERA organises cycle of debates about challenges and opportunities in the Industry sector.

The initiative will be taking place in the country's main centres of industrial excellence, starting in Braga and then moving on to Porto, Aveiro and Leiria.

PRIMAVERA BSS, a Portuguese technology company that develops management software solutions is organising another cycle of debates. This time, the focus will be on the challenges and opportunities facing the Industry sector. The initiative begins on the 19th of May at the company's headquarters in Braga, before moving on to Porto on the 21st, Aveiro on the 26th and Leiria on the 28th.

This cycle is intended for Managers, Production Managers and Maintenance Managers of companies operating in the industry sector. It aims to provide an opportunity to debate the main challenges facing such companies, as well as the chance to exchange experiences and present success stories resulting from the implementation of good management practices and technological tools that support the production processes in a more competitive manner. During the sessions, the Portugal 2020 Community Support Programme will also be discussed, this intervention being the responsibility of the Portuguese Entrepreneurial Association on the theme of "Investment Incentives for the Industry Sector".

The events will also include a practical component, consisting of a visit to the facilities of benchmark companies in the sector, such as Lingote – Alumínios, SA, Soplast and Quitérios Lda. The aim of the visits is to share the methodologies of production line organisation and control that lead to greater profitability.

"The Industry sector is showing signs of dynamism and PRIMAVERA wants to make a significant contribution to furthering this development by giving the sector's main players an opportunity to exchange experiences and share knowledge. The aim is for us to be able to work together to transform these signs of growth and make the sector a benchmark in competitiveness on the international market," José Carlos Azevedo, Country Manager for PRIMAVERA Portugal, explained.

PRIMAVERA's Business Talks project is intended to provide an opportunity for debate, networking and the exchange of experiences among the main players in the sectors, and particularly the Portuguese economic fabric. The aim is to stimulate growth and competitiveness through management technologies. The first edition of the initiative, which visited a number of Portugal's major cities, was on the theme of Management Control. This latest edition begins in Braga on the 19th of May and finishes in Leiria on the 28th.

Participation is free but you are asked to register in advance. More information about the sessions and registering can be found on the PRIMAVERA website at http://pt.primaverabss.com/pt/business-talks-industria/
